Contract

This contract states and certifies that ____________________________ (name/organization)

agrees to pay Baby Doin' The Jig Productions $__________________ (amount)

as compensation for a performance by ____________________ (artist/group)

on _________________ (date)

scheduled to begin at _______________ (time) and conclude at ______________ (time).

 

Article 1) A deposit of 20% of the total amount is required, to be received by Baby Doin' The Jig Productions within one week of the booking of the performance, unless otherwise negotiated.

Article 2) Notificiation of cancellation for any reason (including weather) must be received by an authorized representative of Baby Doin' The Jig Productions 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE of the scheduled start time. If cancellation occurs and there is a PRE-ARRANGED alternative date, but B.D.T.J. receives no prior notification of cancellation, B.D.T.J. is to be paid 20% of the total amount for the original date, and guaranteed the alternative date performance, for which full payment is expected. If there is no alternative date and no prior notification of cancellation, B.D.T.J. is to receive 100% of the total amount.

Article 3) Payment is expected immediately following the performance.

Article 4) Each "hour" of the performance time includes a 15-minute break for the musician(s).
